Angelo is a seasoned advocate with extensive experience litigating and arbitrating complex construction disputes before courts and tribunals across the country. Throughout his career, Angelo has represented the interests of prime contractors and specialty subcontractors, and has pursued through verdict, final contested hearing, or dispositive motions scores of  construction-specific disputes including: change order disputes, schedule and delay claims, subcontractor defaults, contract terminations, mechanic’s lien actions, and contested OSHA citations.

Angelo particularly thrives in the use of technology when representing clients. Angelo’s background in large/complex disputes helped him gain a strong working knowledge of data mining and data management central to document-intense construction disputes.

Angelo is an active member of the construction bar and Angelo’s accomplishments have been recognized making him a Super Lawyers® Rising Star.

  • Successfully defended a subcontractor against general contractor claims of defective work resulting in full payment to client for work performed
  • Arbitrated large, multi-million dollar stadium dispute on behalf of a subcontractor seeking change order requests and defending against delay claims
  • Successfully defended an off-site subcontractor and material supplier against KYOSHA Citations arising from an on-site fatality resulting in dismissal of Citations
  • Mediated multi-million dollar dispute on behalf of a subcontractor facing delay damages due to the alleged actions of client’s subcontractor
  • Represented a subcontractor seeking damages arising out of a sub-subcontractor’s default and successfully obtained a judgment declaring the legal existence and enforceability of the contract being disputed by the sub-subcontractor
  • Represented subcontractors throughout the United States regarding disputes with general contractors and owners over payment, change order, and delay claims
